We’re sailing Croatia again in 2027, and this time we’re back on the Admiral, my favorite yacht in Croatia and the one we’ve sailed the past 3 years!

The yacht is ours. Full crew. Captain. 2 meals a day included plus snacks, so you can focus on the important stuff. Every day we dock somewhere new. Tiny fishing villages, bigger coastal towns, famous beach spots. Pack extra bathing suits because the clear blue swimming spots never end.

What makes this trip special? Check out the Overview & Inclusions below for everything included on board. We’ve got the whole Admiral yacht to ourselves for the week. A bigger vessel means smoother sailing and more space on the sundeck. We’re running this route Trogir to Dubrovnik, ending with a full day in the walled city.

The Boat: Luxury vessel Admiral. Check-in started early afternoon in the main port of Trogir (Marina Baotić). Check-out by 9:00 on Day 8 in Dubrovnik.

Cabin Note: The base price includes the standard below deck cabin. Above deck cabins are a $200 add-on. The first people to sign up get first pick. There are a limited number of each cabin type. If you’re signing up with a roommate, both pick the same cabin type. Otherwise we can’t guarantee you’ll be on the same deck.

Optional Add-Ons & Activities: After you book the trip you will receive an email letting you pick the additional add-ons such as Early Arrival, Top Deck, Solo Room, Etc. The pricing for 2027 Activities is still being finalized. Activities range from 40 euros to 100 euros per person depending on what you pick. We’ll send a survey before the trip so you can plan your optional extras, and we’ll share favorites from our past Croatia sailings.

Payment Plan: Pay $500 to secure your spot, then $235 per month for 10 months. The $500 deposit is 100% NON-REFUNDABLE once the trip is confirmed because the yacht operator requires a non-refundable deposit from us. Please review the cancellation policy below before booking.

We’re headed to Croatia on the Luxury Admiral yacht in 2027! Ready for non-stop fun cruising the Adriatic sea? From turquoise waters and blue skies to exploring the towns and tiny villages of Croatia, this is a perfect trip away from busy daily life.

June 12th :

Day 1 - Trogir to Makarska

Welcome to Croatia!

Fly into Split airport (SPU) and catch our included transfer straight to the Trogir port (Marina Baotic). Check-in opens in the early afternoon and the boat will depart Trogir around 3pm.

For those that arrive early morning today or the day prior we have a walking tour with a local in Trogir included to let you explore the cute seaside area.

If you want a full day to explore Trogir itself, add the optional Pre-Trip Hotel + Transfer add-on so you can arrive the day before, rest up, and wander the medieval old town.

Once everyone’s on board, we’ll sail out of Trogir with a swim stop along the way and arrive in Makarska by evening. Makarska is one of Dalmatia’s best known beach towns with a beautiful promenade and plenty of spots to wander after our Welcome Dinner on board.

June 13th :

Day 2 - Makarska to Bol

Morning cruise out of Makarska heading toward Bol on the island of Brac. We’ll have another swim stop along the way in the clear Adriatic.

Bol is home to the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn). This beach constantly shifts shape because of the wind and waves, so the view you get is the view only you will see that day.*

After beach time, you’ll have a chance to wander Bol’s quiet harbor and old town. There are plenty of local restaurants if you want to try Dalmatian specialties tonight too!

June 14th :

Day 3 - Bol to Hvar

We’re heading to Hvar today, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic.

Along the way we’ll have a swim break and a lovely lunch at the Pakleni Islands, one of the prettiest swim spots of the whole week.

Arrive in Hvar and join our guided walking tour. Afterwards you can take the zig-zag path up to the fort overlooking the harbor, which is the perfect spot for that photo you’ll show off for years.

Hvar is also home to incredible sunsets, restaurants, nightlife, dancing and doesn’t sleep until the early hours, so tonight is your chance to find a good bar or club and celebrate your time in Croatia.

June 15th :

Day 4 - Hvar to Vis

Let’s head over to the island of Vis, one of the main Greek colonies from the 4th century BC.

On our way to Vis we will have a swim stop in another amazing cove area.

Vis has stunning culture and architecture, all incredibly well preserved. Take in all the natural rosemary and sage, and visit the remains of a Roman thermal bath or the city museum. This is somewhere to unwind and relax.

There are several afternoon tours available once we arrive – from seeing the Mama Mia set spots from the movie to a winery built in a WWII cave as well as a brand new military experience that takes you all over the island visiting sites from 2500 years ago. One of my favorite stops every year.

After a fun day on the island we’ll all have a fun dinner tonight with our Captain and crew on board with aperitif too!

June 16th :

Day 5 - Vis to Korcula

We’re continuing up the coast to another beautiful island.

Korcula is famously the birthplace of Marco Polo. We’ll do a small walking tour around the medieval walls, taking in the fishbone pattern of the streets (built that way for natural cooling in the sheltered old town).

The afternoon is yours to explore the island or join us on an optional tour of the island in 4×4 vehicles where you get to see the WHOLE island from the local wineries that sell wine you cant find elsewhere in Croatia, a locals house to sample 20+ Croatian delicacies and so much more!

June 17th :

Day 6 - Mljet, Ston & Sunset at Dubrovnik Walls

Today is a fun and busy day! We start in the morning at Mljet National Park, famous for its salt lakes. You can hike, bike, kayak, swim, or take the small ferry out to the monastery in the middle of the lakes.

After Mljet we will have lunch on board & sail to Ston, home to some of the best oysters in the world. There is an oyster tasting in Ston or nearby Slano where you can learn about local oyster farming straight from the families who do it.

This evening we will have dinner on board as we sail around Dubrovnik, our boat will be timed to cruise past the famous city walls at sunset – perfect for photos. It’s the best way to see Dubrovnik for the first time!

June 18th :

Day 7 - Full Day in Dubrovnik

Today we have a full day in Dubrovnik! This town is packed full of adventure and activities. We will discuss all the activities everyone wants to do but our favorites include walking the famous city walls, going on a Game of Thrones walking tour or going outside the city on very dirty but so much fun ATV tours, taking as peed boat out to the blue & green caves & so much more!

We purposely leave this as a free day in Dubrovnik so that everyone can pick their own adventure. We coordinate activities prior to the trip so we can all make the most of the day!

June 19th :

Day 8 - Off Boat

Its not good bye but cya later – the boat check-out is by 9:00am.

There are places to store your luggage at the dock if you want one more walk through the walled city before flying home, or we’ll have group transfers arranged to Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) throughout the day to get everyone out in time for their flights.

What is the cancellation policy?

The minimum number of guests for this trip is 24. Once we reach 24 bookings, the trip is confirmed and the $500 deposit becomes 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. This is because we pay a non-refundable deposit directly to the yacht operator as soon as the trip is confirmed. If we don’t reach the minimum and the trip is cancelled, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you cancel 90+ days prior to the trip, your $500 deposit is non-refundable but anything paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.

The trip is 100% non-refundable 90 days prior to departure.

Rachel highly recommends getting travel insurance quotes. They can be pretty reasonable and cover these exact situations.

Are flights included?

No, flights are not included. People come from everywhere for this trip so international flights aren’t part of the package.

Fly into Split International Airport (SPU) on June 12th, 2027 for our included transfer to Trogir port. Fly home out of Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) on June 19th, 2027.

You can also look at taking the ferry from DBV back to Split and fly round trip to/from SPU if that works better for you. This is very easy to do.

Should I buy Travel Insurance?

Yes. Travel insurance is required for this trip. Given the non-refundable deposit structure and the distance involved, you want to be covered if anything comes up. Rachel recommends checking out quotes early since they’re usually pretty reasonable.

What is the average age range?

The average age on most trips is 25-39 but don’t let that discourage you from signing up. “43” doesn’t mean you’re too old to enjoy a trip.

What I tell everyone before signing up is to make sure you’re ok with possibly traveling with people who are 21, that you may not find someone exactly your age, but if you’re down to have fun and believe age is just a number, you’re the perfect person for these trips.

My trips are pretty high energy, pretty fast paced, and fun. Lots of fun. I tell everyone to come with an open mind and have a blast. We aren’t sitting down and relaxing by the pool for 7 days, we’re seeing the world.

What is the roommate policy on this trip?

We have about 17 cabins with 2 twin beds in each cabin (not counting the solo rooms).

If you don’t sign up with a roommate, one will be assigned.

Before the trip, I send out a roommate survey with basic questions and match people the best I can. The goal is to put you with a like-minded roommate who will make your trip even better. Surprisingly, some of my roommate matches have ended up traveling together outside these trips, which I think is pretty cool.

What is the food situation?

Half board is included every day. Most days are breakfast & lunch. One day is breakfast & Captain’s Dinner. Day 1 includes our Welcome Dinner on board.

All types of allergies and food preferences can be cooked for (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten free, etc).

Breakfast is a buffet with hot and cold options. Lunch is a 3 course meal with a soup/salad starter, main course, and dessert. If you have specific things you can’t or don’t eat, this can be accounted for before we arrive.

How much is the port fee?

The port fee is 60 euros cash per person per week. This is paid on the spot when you board (in euros, cash only). It covers the visitor’s tax and port charges and is a separate obligatory supplement not included in the trip price. The amount is subject to slight changes in 2027 outside our control.

What about optional activities?

Optional activities range from 40 to 100 euros per person depending on what you pick. Examples include wine tours on Vis, blue caves tour in Dubrovnik, going ZIp Lining in Omis, and guided 4×4 experiences in Korcula through the whole island. A survey goes out before the trip so we can plan everything together, and we’ll share our favorites from past Croatia sailings.

What boat are we sailing on?

We’re sailing on the Deluxe vessel Admiral. It’s a luxury charter yacht with air-conditioned cabins, private facilities in every room, a sundeck with deck-beds, a hot tub, a dining room with bar, and a rear access platform for easy swimming.
