Italy Girls Trip 2027

Welcome to Italy, today everyone arrives! The earlier you land the more time you have to explore Rome today, be sure to land by 5pm to have enough time to get settled before our group dinner!

We will arrange small groups landing around the same time so you can take the train into the city center with the rest of the girls. The train in Italy is very easy to navigate in Italy if you decide to arrive a few days early too.

Tonight we’ll have dinner at a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel & toast to a fun week exploring together!

Call it an early night after dinner or go explore the lively city that stays awake late into the night!

Overnight in Rome 

Wake up early and explore Rome! After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head off on a Golf Cart Tour to visit all that Rome has to offer. Skip the big buses where you’re stuck behind windows or walking around in the heat all day. We’ll see so much on this tour, from the Pantheon to the Trevi Fountain to the Spanish Steps, and so many piazzas, streets, and hills that many miss on their first visit to Rome!

After the tour, we’ll explore the Colosseum, where everyone has access to explore on their own. If you want the full experience, you’re welcome to take in all the details at your own pace. After a group lunch near the Colosseum, we’ll continue to explore Rome. Feel free to branch off to see areas not on our list, or stay with the group and capture photos for the gram!

Dinner is at your own leisure tonight.

Today is a free day to explore on your own.

Or Join Rachel at the Vatican! Consider waking up early and going off on your own or join us on an optional early morning visit to Vatican City. Whether you’re religious or not, the Vatican is a spectacular place to explore with museums and artwork.

Places you could consider exploring today include Vatican City, Underneath the Trevi Fountain, the Catacombs, inside the Pantheon and more. You could even get up at Sunrise and take a photo by the Trevi Fountain when there aren’t hundreds of people. We will discuss this in the group chat and can make plans together to fill our whole day!

Optional Add-On: Head to Vatican City first thing in the morning to explore the museums and grounds, St Peters Square, the Basilica and more. We will go on an early morning tour with a local guide before the huge crowds come visit.

Overnight in Rome 

Today, we will wake up early and say goodbye to Rome – were taking the train down to the Almalfi coast today! A short 1 hour 15 minute train ride to Naples then we will take private transportation from Naples to Sorrento.

You have the entire day to explore Sorrento and its surroundings at your own pace. Whether you prefer soaking in the sun at the beach, wandering through the town’s charming streets, visiting another town along the Amalfi Coast, OR join Rachel + the group on an optional half-day guided tour of Pompeii, the choice is yours!

Lunch & Dinner at your own leisure today!

Included: Breakfast, Train to Naples, Private Transportation from Naples to Sorrento hotel

Optional: Discover the ancient city of Pompeii on a half-day guided tour from Sorrento. Travel comfortably to this UNESCO World Heritage site and explore the well-preserved ruins with an expert guide. Gain insights into the history of this fascinating city, buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, and marvel at the preserved artifacts and structures. This tour includes convenient transportation and skip-the-line access.

Overnight in Sorrento 

Welcome to the Almalfi Coast! After breakfast we’re hoping on a private boat and headed to Capri! Get ready for a day of exploring the grottos, sunning, swimming, taking in amazing views and we will even hop off the boat and visit the Island of Capri itself for a few hours! Capri has amazing food options and a chair lift that you can take to the top of the island for some absolutely amazing views!

We’ll dock back in Sorrento in the evening around 5:30pm. Its the perfect opportunity to make use of your evening to explore the streets of Sorrento or find a nice place to relax and eat dinner after a day in the sun. Dinner at your own leisure tonight.

Overnight in Sorrento 

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to a local cooking class, we’ll spend time with a local family learning about authentic Italian cuisine, explore the local ingredients, and enjoy a delicious meal made by you for Lunch!

In the afternoon we’ll take a quick ferry down the coast to Positano. Once we drop off our luggage with the porters, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore this beautiful town. Whether its walking around and taking photos from every viewpoint or just relaxing at a small beach restaurant and taking in the views. Be sure to pack your bathing suit in your day bag because you might want to hit the beach or relax at a beach club once you arrive in this stunning little town!

Dinner is at your own leisure – it’s a good idea to make a reservation for dinner, as it’s high season in a popular town.

Overnight in Positano 

Last Day in Paradise!

We’re headed to a beach club today to enjoy our last day in Paradise! Most people only ferry into Positano but we’re waking up here giving us the luxury of time and the ability to enjoy the town without the huge crowds. Join Rachel in the morning to wander the streets and take photos at all her favorite spots or opt to just sleep in a bit and relax at the hotel. In the late morning we’ll head down to the beach and enjoy swimming in the sea, taking in the sun and relaxing after a very fun packed week in Southern Italy.

Overnight in Positano

All good things must come to an end. Today is the day, we’ll take a shuttle back to Naples then the train from Naples to Roma where we’ll part ways – until next time!

Be sure to schedule a late afternoon flight today to give yourself enough time to travel from Positano to Rome.

Tip #1: You could book a multi-city flight and fly out of the Naples airport(NAP) which is closer then Rome. It takes approximately 3 hours to travel back to the Rome airport (FCO) from Positano.

Tip #2: There is a hotel directly in the Rome airport if you decide you need to stay an extra day due to where you’re flying back to.
