Its time to explore Greece! We’re going Island Hopping! Get ready to dive it to beautiful and adventurous week!
 
We’re going to explore as much as possible from the history of Athens to adventures through the crystal clear waters of Milos & cobbled streets of Mykonos and NEW this year – we’re stopping by one of the most iconic and under-rated islands – IOS. Blue Skies, Turquoise Waters & Beautiful sunsets are in our future.  How about delicious local cuisine?

  • Optional: Add 3 Nights in Zakynthos to your trip, includes accommodations, 3x breakfast, transportation from Athens to Zakynthos, 2 boat tours to Shipwreck Beach, the blue caves, Turtle Island, & Keri Caves!

It’s time to go island hopping in Greece! Dreaming of turquoise waters, blue skies and sun-kissed ruins? How about delicious local cuisine and breathtaking ocean views? If you’re looking for an island adventure unlike any other, this is it. Turn your dreams into reality and travel to paradise!

If 9 nights isn’t enough and you’re really in for adventure then add 3 extra days and come to Zakynthos to explore the stunning beaches one of the most famous islands! You’ll go home with memories to last a life time and enough stories to annoy your friends to death after this trip!
 
And if you REALLY want to see the domes in Santorini – there’s possibly an opportunity to take a day cruise to Santorini from IOS, we can discuss this in our group chat closer to the time.

Day 1 :
September 15th - Arrive in Athens

You’ve made it, welcome to Athens, Greece! Everyone will meet up at the airport & there will be three transfers from the airport to the hotel in Athens.

After getting settled into your room feel free to explore on your own until a big welcome dinner to celebrate the start of an amazing week in Greece with your new group Travel friends!

Today is a great day to check out the Acropolis Museum or any of the historic areas in the central area of Athens.

Arrival: Fly into Athens International Airport (ATH), three airport transfer provided between 9am and 5pm.

Day 2 :
September 16th - Explore Athens

Today is the day we get to explore all of Ancient Athens! From the Parthenon to Acropolis to Ancient Agora – we’re seeing it all!

We’re getting up enjoying a nice breakfast at the hotel then going on a guided walking tour around the Acropolis with lots of photo op spots for the ‘gram! We’ll see everything from the Parthenon to Ancient Agora. After exploring with our guide we’re going for Lunch in Plaka, one of the most amazing parts of Athens.

In the afternoon you’ll have time to explore on your own, you could go visit the Acropolis Museum or just go shopping! Don’t forget to grab a souvenir or two because we’re off  to Mykonos tonight!

Tonight we’ll take a flight to Mykonos so that we can wake up tomorrow on a brand new island. Its Saturday night – so time to rally and go out dancing!

Day 3 :
September 17th - Wake Up in Mykonos

Welcome to Mykonos, one of the most beautiful islands in Greece!

Today is a free day to go explore on your own. Go out to one of the beach clubs, Take a day trip to Delos Island or Visit the iconic spots like the Windmills, Paraportiani Orthodox Church, or go enjoy the Beaches or stroll through the Streets of Little Venice.

The nightlife in Mykonos is one of the most iconic parts so we can go party the night away at one or more clubs. However late you stay out make sure to grab a delicious gyro from one of the 24/7 late night spots nearby.

Day 4 :
September 18th - Relax at the beaches in Mykonos

Pack your sunscreen, today we’re off on a boat trip to visit all the beaches! Enjoy a nice breakfast  at the hotel then we’re off to the port in the afternoon. There are swim stops, open bar & an amazing lunch provided today. Get ready to dance, swim and sing till Sunset

If the weather is nice we might be able to sail by Rhenia and Delos today too! The route always depends on the weather in Mykonos!

The evening is free for you to go explore or party, dinner at your own leisure once we’re back.

Day 5 :
September 19th - Go explore the amazing island of Ios

We’re off to our 3rd destination today! Breakfast at the hotel then we’re hopping on the ferry and heading to IOS!

After checking into the hotel take the afternoon to explore ios, go down to the beach, walk around town or party at a beach club! You could visit the winery or the infamous Mylopotas Beach. You could climb to the top of the Chora, see the windmills. The options are endless!

Day 6 :
September 20th- Free Day in Ios

Wake up early, you have another full day in Ios! Today is a 100% free day on the island of Ios!

Note: If enough girls want to visit Santorini we can organize a boat trip to Santorini to go explore.

Ios has so many options from the beach to snorkeling or scuba diving off the coast. You could rent an ATV to explore the island – you’ll need an international drivers license to do so which is super easy to get.

Fun Fact: Did you know The famous poet Homer is supposedly buried on Ios. Homer wrote both the Odyssey and the Iliad and decided to spend the last part of his life on Ios because his mother was from this Greek island.

Day 7 :
September 21st - Milos

We’re headed to the relaxing island of Milos today. You can go off and explore on your own or start the day by hitting up the the famous beaches  of Sarakiniko. Sarakinko is also known as the white martian looking rocky beach where it literally looks like you’re on a different planet.

If you’re thinking of doing your own thing then Milos is the perfect island to relax on. Our hotel will have a nice pool to sit by. You could rent a small car or ATV and go enjoy exploring your own or hop on the bus or take a taxi wherever you want to go!

Day 8 :
September 22nd - One more amazing day in Milos

We’re hopping on another boat for a full day of exploring Milos by sea!

We’ll see the parts of Milos you cant access via land from. This is one of best ways to explore Milos Island. During the cruise, visit the beautiful beaches of Milos and the famous pirate hideouts of Kleftiko. Join a snorkeling tour in Kleftiko and take underwater photos. Lunch is included!

Day 9 :
September 23rd - One more amazing day in Milos

Pack your bags then Lets grab breakfast! You’re free to spend the rest of the day shopping or relaxing at the pool, whatever your choice is just be back in time for the ferry!

This afternoon we’ll take a ferry back to Athens and go out for one last dinner as a group. You can even pick up some last minute souvenirs in Athens that you missed something along the way.

Day 10 :
September 24th - Last day in Paradise (or not)

Today is either your last day of the trip or your first day on another Island.

If its your last day then after breakfast you’ll take an airport transfer from the hotel to the Athens Airport before 11am and head home.

Includes: Breakfast, Shuttle to airport, transfer from Hotel to Airport

Optional: Staying the extra 3 days in Zakynthos? We’ll be on an early flight to the island then take a shuttle to our hotel. Today is a free day once you drop your luggage. We’ll be close to a beach, near a wonderful little town we can explore and the hotel has a pool so pick your poison! Tomorrow is a very exciting boat day!

Day 11 :
September 25th - Shipwreck beach!

Today we’re off to the iconic Shipwreck beach aka Navagio! Grab your camera because the views are breathtaking. Our tour takes us to the viewpoint of Shipwreck beach from above and below. We’ll take a boat to shipwreck beach and be able to swim but we’re also going into the blue caves and we even have a chance to see a 2,000 year old olive tree!

Fun Fact: Zante is short for Zakynthos!

Zante has a very lively nighttime scene so if you’re in the mood to go out and party we’re in the perfect place for it.

Note: During some parts of the year the Greek government closes the viewpoint of shipwreck beach from the top so viewing it is not 100% guaranteed.

Day 12 :
September 26th - Another Day in Paradise

Today we’ll go explore another part of Zante!

Marathonisi & Keri Caves. We’ll have time to swim at the Keri Caves and  sail through the famous arch of Kamara. We’ll stop at Cameo Island and while we’re out on the boat we’ll go in search of the amazing Caretta turtles in Laganas Bay!

Tonight is our last night in Zante so be sure to make the most of it!

Day 13 :
September 27th - Time to Say Cya Later

All good things must come to an end unfortunately. After breakfast we’ll take a transfer to the airport and head back to Athens. The earliest flights get us to Athens around noon so be sure to book your flight after 3pm to give yourself enough time to grab your luggage and get checked into your flight home. The earliest flight back lands in Athens at 12:20pm.

Does this trip include flights?

International flights to and from the trip destination are not included. Only flights that are included are listed in inclusions. Looking for cheap flights? Check out Kayak.com or Google Flights!

Is Food Included?

Each trip is different, at least 2 dinners plus breakfast every day is included. The Inclusions has the exact list of food included! Dietary & allergy information will also be collected leading up to the trip to ensure you’re taken care of.

What is due to book a spot on a trip?

A minimum of 25% down payment is due at the time of booking. The down payment is refundable until your spot is confirmed at which time it becomes non-refundable. Your spot is confirmed after the first 8 bookings are made. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the trip. If you book within 59 days from trip start, the full amount will be due at booking.

What is the refund policy?

The 25% deposit is refundable until the minimum amount of people are signed up for the trip, which is 8 people for this trip. After the minimum number of people(8) is met the 25% deposit is not refundable. If you need to cancel your spot prior to 60 days before the trip starts, there is a $100 cancelation fee and the remainder can be used on a future Adventuring for Life trip.

Anything after the 25% deposit is refundable until 60 days before a trip. if you cancel 1-59 days prior to the trip, it is 100% non-refundable. If you find yourself needing to cancel within 60 days of the trip Rachel will work to fill your spot to refund you minus a $100 cancelation fee but a replacement is not guaranteed.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended, especially for ALL International Trips, to protect you in case you do have to cancel at any point.

Should I get Travel Insurance?

Yes, Travel Insurance is required for this trip. There is not a minimum amount of medical coverage.

What is the Covid Policy?

As of January 2023, Adventuring for Life is not requiring proof of covid vaccination for the trips. It is still strongly recommended that you are vaccinated and by signing up for this trip you accept all responsibility for your health & care if you test positiive for covid on or after the trip.

Do I need to take a covid test to go home?

As of September 2022, Covid tests are not required to return to the USA or Canada.

Can I pick my roommate?

The majority of the people that sign up for the trips with adventuring for life are coming solo! We do an extensive Roommate matching survey before each trip to help match people up that have the same vibe. You are welcome to bring a friend or request a certain roommate after you’ve met the girls on the group chat or let us pick somebody for you.

We offer solo rooms on certain trips for people that want their own space but you are 100% welcome to sign up by yourself and we will get you a great roommate.

Trip Facts

  • There will be 8-20 Girls on this trip.
  • There is A LOT of walking in Greece. Expect to walk 10k-20k steps per day with Athens being the most steps. You should be able to walk for extended periods of time. You will be required to carry your own luggage through airports and ferry terminals.
