The Best of Turkey – August 2027

Welcome to Istanbul, one of our drivers will meet you at the airport and you’re off to explore the amazing country of Turkey!

Be sure to arrive by 4pm so you have time to check into the hotel before our welcome dinner tonight. Your driver will meet you at IST airport and handle the transfers, ensuring a smooth start to your adventure.

There are 3 airport transfers between 8am and 4pm from IST airport.

Tonight our trip starts with a fun welcome dinner & cruise down the Bosphorus! The best way to start any trip in Istanbul is to see the city while enjoying delicious Turkish food and all the scenery.

Optional: If you land early there are several airport hotels you can stay the night at or we can arrange a pretrip room and early transfer to the first hotel in Istanbul.

Overnight in Istanbul

Good Morning, we’re off to explore one of the only cities in the world that spans two continents! We’re heading out with a local tour guide on this private tour which includes the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace & more! We’ll walk through Istanbuls Old City, see historic monuments, explore areas with stunning architecture and learn about the history of Turkey while we stop for photos at all the sights along the way.

After working up an appetite we will stop for lunch & enjoy another amazing Turkish meal.

After a delicious turkish lunch we will also visit the famous Spice Market, its a great taste of everything Turkey has to offer. Taste spices, local tea and of course Turkish Delight while shopping the markets.

The rest of the day is free for you to explore more of Istanbul. Well chat in the group about all the options like a Whirling Dervish show, visiting a local Turkish hammam or shopping in Taksim Square.

Overnight in Istanbul

Today is your day to see more of the city!

You could take the ferry to the Asian side of the city, shop at the local markets or enjoy a traditional Turkish hamam today. There are so many options as the city of Istanbul is quite massive. We can discuss all the options and plan something as a group or you can go out and explore on your own. Visit areas like Galata and try the famous San Sebastian cheesecake or hang out on a rooftop taking in all the views of the city.

Overnight in Istanbul

Today, we’ll start early morning and fly from Istanbul to the city of Izmir. From Izmir we’ll set out to visit the ancient city of Ephesus! Ephesus is a remarkable well preserved ancient roman city. After going on a tour of the ruins, taking in the history and imagining the epic stories that unfolded here thousands of years ago. After our time in Ephesus we’ll drive to the city of Denizli

Overnight in Denizli/Pamukkale Region

Have you ever seen something as cool as Pamukkale? Pack an outfit for photos because today were going to visit the magical white terraces also known as cotton castles. The thermal waters of Pamukkale are calling your name!

We will have a guided tour of the UNESCO site explaining the area before free time to explore and visit as much as you want to see. This is more then a photo spot too – Hierapolis is an ancient city still well preserved with well preserved ruins you can explore.

Optional: If swimming in ancient thermal waters is on your bucketlist then you can even take a dip in the Cleopatra Pool, a 2000 year old thermal pool with thermal waters still feeding the pool & ancient columns in the water.

After relaxing at the Pamukkale Thermal Pools, we will stop for lunch at a delicious local spot (try the Manti if you havent by now!) and to visit a local wine & turkish delight shop then drive approximately 4 hours to Antalya.

The scenery changes along the drive allowing you to take in the scenery and mountainous regions of the country.

Overnight in Antalya

Its Boat Day! We’re off in the morning to enjoy a full day on the water, soaking in the sun and beauty of Antalya’s coastline. This boat trip takes you to some of the most scenic spots along the coast, with multiple stops for swimming and snorkeling in the Mediterranean’s crystal-clear waters. Relax and take in the breathtaking views as you explore the islands and hidden gems along the way.

Overnight in Antalya

After several days on the go its your day to relax or explore more of the beautiful coast line.

There are so many options of activities in Antalya too – you can opt to relax at a beach club, go explore more of the history in the city and visit Hadrians Arch or go on an adventure to Düden Waterfall, there are even options to go paragliding or ATV riding today too!

This evening we fly to our last city – Cappadocia.

Included: Breakfast, Evening Flight to Cappadocia, Transfers to/from hotels + airports

Overnight in Cappadocia

After a delicious turkish breakfast at the hotel, experience the breathtaking views of Cappadocia with a full-day tour of the regions highlights. Explore stunning rock formations and unique valleys, plus the unique underground city only found here! After a full day of exploring we are going out to enjoy our farewell dinner & Turkish Night Show to end your day.

Well visit Love Valley and the Red Tour combined with other favorite places we love in the city.

Optional: Wake up early and take a hot air balloon ride for incredible aerial views of Cappadocia! Its a great way to see the landscape from above and capture stunning photos.

Overnight in Cappadocia

Its our last day in Turkey but you can go out with a bang today!

Optional: Wake up early for an amazing turkish breakfast overlooking the valley of fairy chimneys while the hot air balloons take off, an unforgettable way to capture your last morning. Be sure to bring a fun outfit or dress so you can take some amazing photos while we enjoy our breakfast.

Depart any time today. We will have shared day use rooms until 8pm to refresh in for those that want to maximize their last day in Cappadocia too.

Fly out of either NAV or ASR – Transfers are available all day today.

Optional Activities you can do on your last day: Turkish hamam, ATV riding, horseback riding in Rose Valley or you could even do a photo shoot in the ancient city! We can help arrange any and all activities with our local tour company.
