Along the way we’ll explore ancient medinas, sip mint tea on rooftop terraces, get lost in colorful souks, and experience the incredible culture, food, and hospitality Morocco is known for. From the mountains of the north to the deserts of the south, this trip showcases the very best of Morocco in one unforgettable adventure.

After arriving in Madrid, you’ll be transferred to our hotel in the heart of the city. Spend the afternoon settling in, grabbing your first sangria, or wandering through the lively streets before meeting the group. Be sure to land by 4pm today so you have enough time to get settled in before dinner.
Tonight we’ll gather for our welcome dinner, share travel stories, and kick off what promises to be an unforgettable adventure through Spain and Morocco.
Overnight in Madrid

After breakfast we’ll join a guided walking tour through the heart of Madrid, exploring some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and neighborhoods.
Our morning tour will include Puerta del Sol, the bustling center of Madrid, the beautiful Plaza Mayor, the famous Mercado de San Miguel, the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Plaza de Oriente, and a stroll along Gran Vía, one of the city’s most famous streets.
Along the way you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for Madrid’s history, culture, architecture, and local lifestyle while getting your bearings for the rest of your stay.
The tour will conclude near the city’s restaurant district, giving you the perfect opportunity to enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace. Visit a museum, relax in Retiro Park, browse local shops, or simply enjoy a leisurely afternoon in one of Europe’s most vibrant capitals.

This morning we’ll take an early flight south to Málaga, giving us nearly a full day to enjoy Spain’s stunning Costa del Sol.
We’ll spend the afternoon exploring Málaga’s charming old town, picturesque waterfront, historic landmarks, and lively plazas. With sunshine, palm trees, and Mediterranean views around every corner, it’s the perfect introduction to southern Spain.

Today we’ll experience one of Spain’s most famous adventures: Caminito del Rey.
Originally built along the steep walls of a dramatic gorge, this spectacular walkway offers breathtaking views high above the canyon floor. As we make our way along the route, we’ll cross hanging walkways, pass towering cliffs, and take in some of the most impressive scenery in southern Spain.
The trail winds through the heart of El Chorro Gorge, where rugged mountains, turquoise reservoirs, and dramatic rock formations create endless photo opportunities along the way.
Following our hike, we’ll return to Málaga where you’ll have the remainder of the evening free to relax by the waterfront, enjoy fresh seafood, explore the historic center, or watch the sunset over the Mediterranean.

Optional Spain Trip:
For all the Spain ladies, this morning we’ll cross the Strait of Gibraltar and make our way into Morocco after breakfast! This is where we’ll meet up with the rest of the group and continue our trip through Morocco!
Morocco Only Ladies:
If you’re only joining for the Morocco portion of the trip then today is the day you land! We will have airport transfers to pick you up and meet with the group. You need to be in Tangiers by noon today. The best way to arrive here is flying into Casablanca and taking a domestic flight from Casablanca to Tangiers.
Before leaving Tangier behind, we’ll stop at several highlights along the northern coast, including Cap Spartel and the famous Hercules Cave.
From there we’ll continue into the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous Blue City.
After checking into our hotel, we’ll head into town to explore before enjoying dinner at a beautiful rooftop restaurant overlooking the medina and surrounding mountains.

Today we’ll fully experience one of Morocco’s most photogenic destinations.
We’ll spend the morning exploring the Blue City’s most iconic photo locations, hidden alleyways, scenic viewpoints, colorful staircases, bustling squares, and charming corners that have made Chefchaouen famous around the world.
After lunch together, enjoy a free afternoon to continue exploring the medina, browse artisan shops, relax at the hotel, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the city.

After breakfast, we’ll say goodbye to the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen and begin our journey south through Morocco’s beautiful countryside.
Our first stop is the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in North Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As we wander among towering columns, intricate mosaics, and centuries-old ruins, you’ll get a glimpse into a fascinating chapter of Morocco’s history that many travelers never expect to find.
We’ll continue through rolling farmland, olive groves, and traditional villages before arriving in Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Home to one of the world’s largest car-free medinas, Fes feels like stepping back in time, with its maze of winding alleyways, hidden courtyards, bustling souks, and centuries-old traditions.

Today we’ll dive into the heart of Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Home to one of the world’s largest and oldest car-free medinas, Fes is a city where ancient traditions are still very much alive.
Together we’ll wander through a maze of narrow alleyways lined with colorful souks, artisan workshops, hidden courtyards, centuries-old mosques, and bustling markets that seem unchanged by time. Watch skilled craftsmen create leather goods, pottery, textiles, and metalwork using techniques passed down through generations.
We’ll also visit the city’s famous tanneries, where vibrant dye pits create one of Morocco’s most iconic sights. Along the way you’ll have plenty of opportunities to shop for handmade treasures, sample local flavors, and soak in the atmosphere of one of the most fascinating cities in North Africa.
After our guided tour, we’ll enjoy lunch together before the afternoon is yours to continue exploring, shop for souvenirs, relax at the riad, or simply get lost in the winding streets of the medina.

Today we’ll begin our journey into the Sahara, traveling through the ever-changing landscapes of central Morocco. Along the way we’ll pass through cedar forests, mountain villages, fertile valleys, and dramatic desert scenery as the landscape gradually transforms into the golden dunes that have made the Sahara famous around the world.
By late afternoon we’ll arrive in Merzouga, home to some of the most spectacular dunes in Morocco and widely considered one of the best gateways to the Sahara Desert. As the sun begins to set, we’ll trade our 4×4 vehicle for camels and venture deep into the dunes, watching the colors of the desert shift from gold to orange as daylight fades.
For those looking for a little extra adventure, optional activities such as sandboarding and quad biking are available too!
Tonight we’ll stay in a luxury desert camp tucked among the dunes. Unlike traditional camping, your private tent includes comfortable beds, an ensuite bathroom with a permanent shower, air conditioning, and all the comforts needed for a memorable night in the Sahara. After dinner, enjoy an evening beneath one of the clearest night skies you’ll ever experience, with countless stars stretching across the desert horizon.

Note: Camel Riding is included but not required, if you want to try it then this is the place for it! If you prefer to visit the Sahara via vehicle then a quad bike (ATV) ride is optional and can be arranged too.
Drive Time: 7 Hours plus stops along the way

Rise early this morning for sunrise over the Sahara, watching the first light of day transform the dunes into shades of gold, orange, and red. After breakfast at camp, we’ll continue our journey through some of Morocco’s most spectacular landscapes, passing palm-filled oases, traditional Berber villages, and dramatic desert scenery along the way.
One of today’s highlights is a visit to Todra Gorge, where sheer canyon walls tower hundreds of feet above the valley floor, creating one of the most impressive natural landmarks in the country. Take time to wander through the gorge, admire the scale of the cliffs, and capture a few photos before we continue on.
This evening we’ll arrive in the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its rugged rock formations, winding roads, and breathtaking scenery. After another unforgettable day on the road, we’ll enjoy dinner together and settle in for the evening.

Today we’ll travel one of Morocco’s most scenic routes as we make our way toward Marrakech, a city known for its vibrant energy, colorful souks, beautiful architecture, and unforgettable atmosphere.
Along the way we’ll visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs. This ancient fortified village has served as the backdrop for countless films and television shows and offers a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s past.
From there we’ll cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, winding through dramatic mountain scenery, traditional Berber villages, and spectacular viewpoints before descending into Marrakech.
After checking into our riad, we’ll head straight into the heart of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square where Marrakech truly comes alive. Sip on freshly squeezed orange juice, sample local specialties, and we will have dinner at the local food stalls for a fun authetic experience.
Musicians, storytellers, and performers as the square transforms into one of the most fascinating night markets in the world. This evening is all about soaking up the sights, sounds, and energy that make Marrakech one of Morocco’s most unforgettable destinations.

Drive Time: 6-7 Hours plus stops for lunch + photos

Today we’ll have a guided tour of Marrakech, exploring some of the city’s most iconic landmarks including Bahia Palace, Le Jardin Secret, the historic Mellah area, and the colorful souks that have made Marrakech famous around the world.
The afternoon is yours to continue exploring at your own pace. Visit Jardin Majorelle, relax in a traditional hammam, enjoy a rooftop café, shop for souvenirs, join a local cooking class or simply wander the winding streets of the medina. There are several options that our tour guide can help people arrange based on their preferences!
This evening we’ll gather for our farewell dinner and celebrate an unforgettable journey through Morocco.
Optional: Want to cross something off your bucket list? Join an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride early today and watch the sun rise over the desert, villages, and mountains surrounding Marrakech. We will arrange this for everyone interested prior to the trip.

Yep! You can pick your roommate, so sign up with a friend if you’d like! You can room with your sister, your bestie, your wife, whoever you want! There is a form emailed to you after you sign up where you can add their name.
