Costa Rica Adventure - 7 Days

Today we set off to the amazing Arenal Volcano, situated in La Fortuna.

The whole journey will feature some breathtaking stops in different landmarks, such as an Organic Farm visit situated in rural farmlands. You will have the opportunity to learn all about the different crops they nurture and grow, visit the farm and have a delicious local lunch.

After lunch, the journey will continue towards Arenal Volcano, where you will hike through hardened lava flows, witnessing breath-taking views of an up close volcano, and take time to learn all about the local plant and animal species.

We are certain, that after your small trek and immersion into local nature, you would love the opportunity to soak off in some Hot Springs… so let’s do it! These hot springs are located at the bottom of the volcano, so it really is a bath with a view.

Tonight, you will enjoy dinner at the Hot Springs before returning back to your hotel for the evening.

This morning is free time or after breakfast join the group on an Optional  Canyoneering Adventure!*

Optional: Join us on an adventure to a local canyon! You’ll have the opportunity to rappel down huge waterfalls, jump into beautiful pools, zip down guided ropes, climb down canyon walls and boulders, and hike up through the luscious rainforest!

This is a thrilling, cannot-miss, opportunity! And after you’ve finished jumping and climbing and walking everywhere and anywhere, if you choose this excursion, your lunch for the day will be included. A good level of fitness to partake in this activity.

This afternoon, the whole group will meet back up with each other and head on down to the La Fortuna Waterfall. This waterfall is guaranteed to blow your mind, and is the perfect back drop to any shots you need for your socials! The local wildlife and vegetation will keep you good company while you explore the waterfall, potentially even taking a dip in the cooling waters where able and weather allowing!

Tonight dinner is completely up to you, so grab your sense of adventure and step out into the night.

This morning you will set off after breakfast towards the beautiful beachy land of Jacó.

Once you arrive at your hotel, you’re welcome to enjoy the rest of your day, exploring everywhere and anywhere. Explore the town, enjoy the beautiful beach, make plans with the other girls or just relax at the pool this afternoon.

Today is another packed day of optional adventures! Hang out at the beach or join us on both of these adventures today!

Optional: After breakfast this morning, you have the opportunity to head out on a kayaking adventure in the ocean! Once we’ve kayaked and landed on a local beac, you’ll have time to swim and wade your way through the crystal clear water, and plunge deep beneath it’s waves by snorkeling with some colorful tropical fish!

Should you opt for this adventure, your lunch will be included – a relaxing beach picnic.

Then, as the afternoon begins, you will have another optional adventure available: Ziplining! You’ll head out on a specially designed tractor which will take you to the top of the zipline; then you’ll plunge down 3.5km, along one of the longest cables in the Central Pacific. We highly recommend keeping your eyes wide open to really take in the amazing nature surrounding you, as you venture from tree to tree – line to line.

By the middle of the afternoon, the whole group will be reunited to continue your day doing whatever you want! Why not head down to the beach for a lovely relaxing dip in the ocean? Or head into town and scope where you could spend the evening drinking and eating away! The world is your oyster!

Today is your final full day in heaven, let’s finish with a bang!

Today were headed out on on the ocean for one last fun adventure – an amazing Catamaran Day Trip! Sail out on the ocean to a local island, lunch is included and there will be many opportunities to swim and snorkel along the way too! Enjoy the views, the vibes, and relax after a long fun week of adventure. Its the perfect way to end a trip in Jaco Costa Rica!

Tonight, after a week of excellent adventures and breathtaking views, you will all join together as a group to bid adieu to Costa Rica, and see you next time!

All good things must come to an end. Enjoy one last breakfast before saying goodbye to Costa Rica. Today there will be a few scheduled shared shuttles to the airport to help you catch your flights. Please look for afternoon departure flights as it may take us some time to get back to the airport!
