It’s time to explore Greece! Were going Island Hopping in Greece! We’re going to explore as much as possible from the history of Athens to adventures through the crystal clear waters of Milos & cobbled streets of Mykonos. Blue Skies, Turquoise Waters & Beautiful sunsets are in our future.  How about delicious local cuisine?   Picture this – you and 15 other girls enjoying a 3am gyro after dancing the night away in Mykonos. We’re taking amazing photos for the ‘gram on the classic cobbled streets of Mykonos. If 7 nights isn’t enough and you’re really in for adventure then add 3 extra days and come to Zakynthos to explore the stunning beaches one of the most famous islands!

Day 1 :
- Arrive in Athens

You’ve made it, welcome to Athens, Greece! Everyone will meet up at the airport & there will be three transfers from the airport to the hotel in Athens.

After getting settled into your room feel free to explore on your own until a big welcome dinner to celebrate the start of an amazing week in Greece with your new group Travel friends!

Arrival: Fly into Athens International Airport (ATH), two airport transfer provided between 9am and 5pm.

Day 2 :
- Explore Athens

Today is the day we get to explore all of Ancient Athens! From the Parthenon to Acropolis to Ancient Agora – we’re seeing it all!

We’re getting up enjoying a nice breakfast at the hotel then going on a guided walking tour around the Acropolis with lots of photo op spots for the ‘gram! We’ll see everything from the Parthenon to Ancient Agora. After exploring with our guide we’re going for Lunch in Plaka, one of the most amazing parts of Athens.

In the afternoon you’ll have time to explore on your own, go visit the Acropolis Museum or just go shopping! Don’t forget to grab a souvenir or two because we’re off  to Mykonos tonight!

Tonight we’ll take a flight to Mykonos so that we can wake up tomorrow on a brand new island.

Day 3 :
Wake Up in Mykonos

Welcome to Mykonos, one of the most beautiful islands in Greece!

Today is a free day to go explore on your own. Take a day trip to Delos Island or Visit the iconic spots like the Windmills, Paraportiani Orthodox Church, or go enjoy the Beaches or stroll through the Streets of Little Venice.

The nightlife in Mykonos is one of the most iconic parts so we can go party the night away at one or more clubs. However late you stay out make sure to grab a gyro from one of the 24/7 late night spots nearby.

Day 4 :
Relax at the beaches in Mykonos

Pack your sunscreen, today we’re off on a boat trip to visit all the beaches! Enjoy a nice breakfast  at the hotel then were off to the port. We’ll have a boat all to ourselves as we explore all the southern beaches.

Set sail for the secluded southern beaches of Mykonos, drop anchor off a beach of your choice, and dive straight into the clear blue waters. You can swim privately around the yacht, or if you feel you’re missing the crowd, swim to shore and mingle. The choice is yours!

From Ornos to Platys Gialos, and the very popular Super Paradise and everything in between!

The evening is free for you to go explore or party, dinner at your own leisure once we’re back.

Day 5 :
Marvel at the amazing Milos

We’re off to our 3rd destination today! Breakfast at the hotel then you have a free morning to explore, shop or hit up the local beach until we take an afternoon ferry to Milos!

After checking into the hotel take the evening to explore Milos or grab a late night gyro.

After all the partying in Mykonos, Milos is a fun relaxed island with iconic blue water and white rock beaches that we must explore!

Day 6 :
Free Day in Milos!

Wake up early, its the your first full day in Milos! Today is a free day, go off and explore on your own or join Rachel hitting up the main city center also known as Plaka & the famous beaches  of Kleftiko and Sarakiniko.

If you’re thinking of doing your own thing then Milos is the perfect island to relax on. Our hotel will have a nice pool to sit by. You could rent a small car or ATV and go enjoy exploring your own or hop on the bus or take a taxi wherever you want to go!

Day 7 :
Want to hop on another boat?

Today you have the option of hopping on another boat to explore the coast of Milos or take time to yourself to relax by the pool or do some more exploring of Adamas, Plaka, and the fishing village with brightly colored houses.

Optional: Hop on another boat for a full day of exploring Milos by sea. We’ll see the parts of Milos you cant access via land from. This is one of best ways to explore Milos Island. Enjoy a day on-board a luxurious yacht. During the cruise, visit the beautiful beaches of Milos and the famous pirate hideouts of Kleftiko. Join a snorkeling tour in Kleftiko and take underwater photos. Lunch is included!

Day 8 :
One more amazing day in Milos

Pack your bags then Lets grab breakfast! You’re free to spend the rest of the day shopping or relaxing at the pool, whatever your choice is just be back in time for the ferry!

This afternoon we’ll take a ferry back to Athens and go out for one last dinner as a group. You can even pick up some last minute souvenirs in Athens that you missed something along the way.

Day 9 :
Last Day in Paradise (or not)

Today is either your last day of the trip or your or your first day on another Island.

If its your last day then after breakfast you’ll take an airport transfer from the hotel to the Athens Airport before 11am and head home.

Optional: Staying the extra 3 days in Zakynthos? We’ll be on an early flight to the island then take a shuttle to our hotel. Today is a free day once you drop your luggage. We’ll be close to a beach, near a wonderful little town we can explore and the hotel has a pool so pick your poison! Tomorrow is a very exciting boat day!

Day 10 :
Day 10 in Zante

Today we’re off to the iconic Shipwreck beach aka Navagio! Grab your camera because the views are breathtaking. Our tour takes us to the viewpoint of Shipwreck beach from above and below. We’ll take a boat to shipwreck beach and be able to swim but we’re also going into the blue caves and we even have a chance to see a 2,000 year old olive tree!

Fun Fact: Zante is short for Zakynthos!

Zante has a very lively nighttime scene so if you’re in the mood to go out and party we’re in the perfect place for it.

Day 11 :
Another Day in Paradise

Today we’ll go explore another part of Zante!

Marathonisi & Keri Caves. We’ll have time to swim at the Keri Caves and  sail through the famous arch of Kamara. We’ll stop at Cameo Island and while we’re out on the boat we’ll go in search of the amazing Caretta turtles in Laganas Bay!

Tonight is our last night in Zante so be sure to make the most of it!

Day 12 :
Time to Say Cya Later

All good things must come to an end unfortunately. After breakfast we’ll take a transfer to the airport and head back to Athens. The earliest flights get us to Athens around noon so be sure to book your flight after 3pm to give yourself enough time to grab your luggage and get checked into your flight home.

Does this trip include flights?

International flights to and from the trip destination are not included. Only flights that are included are listed in inclusions. Looking for cheap flights? Check out Kayak.com or Google Flights!

Is Food Included?

Each trip is different, at least 2 dinners plus breakfast every day is included. but it varies trip to trip. Dietary & allergy information will also be collected leading up to the trip to ensure you’re taken care of.

What is due to book a spot on a trip?

A minimum of 25% down payment is due at the time of booking. The down payment is refundable until your spot is confirmed at which time it becomes non-refundable. Your spot is confirmed after the first 8 bookings are made. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the trip. If you book within 59 days from trip start, the full amount will be due at booking.

What is the refund policy?

The 25% deposit is refundable until the minimum amount of people are signed up for the trip, which is 8 people. After the minimum number of people(8) is met the 25% deposit is not refundable. Anything after the 25% deposit is refundable until 60 days before a trip. if you cancel 1-59 days prior to the trip, it is non-refundable. Rachel will work to fill your spot to refund you minus any credit card fee’s but a replacement is not guaranteed. Travel Insurance is highly recommended, especially for ALL International Trips, to protect you in case you do have to cancel at any point.

Should I get Travel Insurance?

Yes. Especially in the current climate of the world, Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all International Trips.

What is the Covid Policy?

Traveling with a group can be challenging at times, doing it unvaccinated is even more of a task in Greece due to their current covid requirements. While Greece is currently allowing unvaccinated visitors with proof of a covid test there is no guarantee of that in the future. They require tests before riding ferries, taking flights and going into restaurants. There are certain restaurants & bars in Mykonos that don’t allow entrance without a proof of vaccination as well. So at this time if you are unvaccinated I would prefer you not sign up for a group trip. That may change in the future but it is simply too complicated to do right now.

Do I need to take a covid test to go home?

Yes currently the USA requires residents to take a covid test before coming home. These are easily available at the Athens airport, they take under an hour for results and can be taken in enough advance of your flight home.

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Yes. All trips with Adventuring for Life & Rachel require vaccination. Even if a country doesn’t require it, there are too many regulations to keep up with as the world continues to change so being vaccinated is the only way these group trips can be successful.
