Dubrovnik has so much to offer! What you do is up to you – you have many options from walking tours of the city along the walls to cable car rides and if you’re feeling adventurous you could reserve a spot to go ziplining too! Dubrovnik also has MANY amazing beaches if you’re craving some R&R in the sand.

Rachels Perfect Day in Dubrovnik would be waking up and going on a Game of Thrones tour & Taking the Cable car to the top of the Mountain OR going Buggy Riding around the city if you aren’t a GOT fan. Then going ATV or UTV riding in the countryside of Dubrovnik in the afternoon. This lets you see the whole town inside the walls and then the beautiful countryside outside Dubrovnik where you can enjoy sunset. It is a long day but also the perfect way to maximize your time.

There are so many things to do in this city.

If you do the awesome buggy tour – you are taken to Mount Srd to get a bird’s eye view of the Old City and Elaphite Isles before driving an off-road buggy around the mountain.
Unmissable!

Dubrovnik is also the setting for the capital city of Westeros, Kings Landing, in Game of Thrones. If you are a fan, why not take a walking tour of the locations of the most famous scenes in the ultra-popular show and get an overview of the history of Dubrovnik at the same time?

There are also Blue Caves you can take a boat ride to from Dubrovnik in the afternoon. Great for someone that wants to get out of the city and onto the water!

We will coordinate all the activity options closer to the trip!

Note: to give you the convenience of not needing to return to the boat, only breakfast will be served on this day – giving you plenty of time to soak in all the incredible views and opportunities for delish food.

What is the refund policy?

The minimum number of girls for this trip is 8. Once we reach 8, the 25% deposit is no longer refundable as I book our hotels, activities, etc. at that point. If we don’t reach the minimum number of people, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel your trip more than 60 days prior to the trip your 25% deposit is non-refundable but can be used for future Adventuring for Life trips minus a $100 cancellation fee. Anything over the 25% will be refunded automatically.

The trip credit must be used within 12 months of cancellation.

The trip is 100% non-refundable 60 days prior to the trip.

The only way to get any money back within 60 days of a trip is if you are able to find a replacement. Rachel can definitely help try to fill the spot but there are zero guarantees we’re able to find a replacement. This is why we recommend travel insurance – incase something happens causing you to be unable to join us!
Rachel highly recommends checking out Travel Insurance quotes as they can be pretty reasonable and assist in these situations.

Are flights included?

No flights are not included. People come from everywhere for this trip so I’m unable to include international flights.

Should I buy Travel Insurance?

Yes – Travel Insurance is required for this trip. We recommend a minimum coverage of 200k medical.

Do I need to be vaccinated?`

As of January 2023, Adventuring for Life is not requiring proof of covid vaccination for the trips. It is still strongly recommended that you are vaccinated and by signing up for this trip you accept all responsibility for your health & care if you test positiive for covid on or after the trip.

What is the average age range?

The average age on most trips is 21-39 but don’t let that discourage you from signing up. “41” doesn’t mean you’re too old to enjoy a trip.

What I like to tell everyone before signing up is to make sure they’re ok with possibly traveling with people that are 21, that they may be the only “person their age” but also if you’re down to have fun and you do believe that age is just a number. You’re the perfect time of person for these trips.

Whats more important than age? Being open minded, down to have fun with people of ALL ages, and the biggest thing is non-judgmental. My trips are pretty high energy, pretty fast paced and fun – lots of fun. I just tell everyone to have an open mind and come to have a blast. We aren’t sitting down and relaxing by the pool for 7 days, we’re seeing the world!

What is the roommate policy on this trip

We have 18 cabins with 2 twin beds in each cabin (Single cabins available). If you don’t sign up with a roommate then one will be assigned. Prior to the trip I send out a roommate survey asking basic questions and try to match people the best I can. The goal is to put you with a like minded roommate that’s going to make your trip even better. Surprisingly enough, some of my roommate matches have ended up traveling with each other outside these trips, which I think is pretty cool.

What is the food situation?

Half board is included almost everyday. Most days are Breakfast & lunch, a few days include dinner. All types of allergies and food preferences can be cooked for. Vegetarian, Vegan, Pesc, Gluten Free, etc. Breakfast is a typical buffet style with hot and cold options. Lunch is a 3 course meal with a soup/salad starter, a main course and a desert. If you have specific things you cant/dont eat this can be accounted for before we arrive.

Who is hosting & guiding this trip?

There will be an amazing local tour guide on the ship with you to give you suggestions and recommendations throughout the sailing. Mackenzie will be hosting this week in Croatia – this will be her 8th Trip with Adventuring for Life! Rachel is still in charge of all the logistics and will be in Croatia the day one to get everyone on the boat smoothly.

How do I get to know the other girls going on the trip?

We will create a group chat prior to the trip commencing – so keep an eye out on your Instagram request folder in case it ends up in there! This is also why we ask for your handle when you’re booking, and it’s super important to triple check for any spelling mistakes.

This allows everyone to chat before hand, get to know each other, and make plans for the free time you will have.

While it’s not required to join, it is highly encouraged and we do share fun and important information on the group chat prior to the trip.
