We’re about to have such a blast in Portugal & Spain you might end up wanting to come back again! From Barcelona to Seville then down to the coast in Lagos – then up to the hilly Lisbon. This itinerary lets you see two countries at once! From the iconic sites in Barcelona & Lisbon to some relaxation and beach time in Lagos!

You’ve made it to Barcelona! We’re about to have such a great week seeing the sights, enjoying the food & beaches and so much more!
Arrive early and hit the ground running with an afternoon walking food tour around Barcelona for everyone that arrives at the hotel by 2pm.
Tonight after everyone settles into the hotel we’ll all get together for a dinner to cheers to a fun week enjoying the weather, beaches, history & culture of Spain & Portugal
Tonight is a great time to go see a Flamenco show – totally optional & we can discuss in the group chat!

Put on your best walking shoes because this morning we’re off on a fun action packed guided tour of the famous La Sagrada Familia & Park Guell!
Afterwards we’ll go sit and have a proper lunch with lots of tapas to share! Another opportunity to try all the things!
You’re free to go explore on your own go do some shopping. From the gothic quarter to old town – you could book yourself an afternoon tour or just go off and take photos and do a self tour.
Tonight we’ll fly to our next destination – Seville!
Overnight in Seville
Includes: Breakfast, Tapas Lunch, Guided Tour of La Sagrada Famila & Park Guell, Flight to Seville
Today we’ll go off and explore Seville – from Catedral de Seville to Royal Alcazar (where the filmed game of thrones) – we’ll go see it all! We’ll visit the funky Mushrooms of Seville and of course stop for Gelato along the way.
Lunch & Dinner are at your own leisure & After a fun day of explore Seville Spain we’ll go catch a Flamenco show!
Afterwards if you’re looking for some fun nightlife we can go check out alameda de Hercules, Santa Cruz, or el Arenal areas.

Pack your bags after breakfast this morning then go have a free day in Seville!
There are so many options, you could go on another food tour or create your own by hopping between bars and restaurants. If you havent seen Plaza de Espana, Climb the La Giralda bell tower or see Plaza de toros – those are all great stops! We can plan something in our group chat as well!
Tonight we’ll leave from the hotel at 8pm and head to Lagos.

After several days of go go go today is yours to slow down and relax at the beach or keep exploring. The group chat is a great place to discuss what everyone wants to do today. From some amazing beaches to boat tours, kayaking through caves, swimming or boating through the Benagli sea caves and more! Public transportation & Uber are both available to get you around The Algarve so theres no shortage of things to do today!
Its Boat Day! We’re taking a cruise down the coast today. Get ready to see some AMAZING sights and breathtaking landscape as we cruise down the coastline today from Lagos to the iconic Ponta da Piedade and everything in between. We’ll be able to swim, tan, relax dance and enjoy a full day at sea from our luxury boat!
Included: Breakfast, Boat Trip down the Algarve coastline
Today is all yours – go enjoy a day at the beach, hop on a jeep tour, go ATV riding or book yourself a fun tour exploring other parts of The Algarve, there are SO many different beach options & even several hikes you could venture out on today.
Just be back to the hotel by 7:30pm! Tonight we’ll say good bye to Lagos and head up the coast to our last stop – Lisbon Portugal!

Included: Breakfast, Transportation from Lagos to Lisbon
Lets go on a Tuk Tuk Tour through Lisbon! From the Lisbon Cathedral to Miradouro das Portas do Sol, the best view in all of Lisbon the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and so so so much more! This half day tour will leave you feeling like you live in Lisbon and know it like the back of your hand!
Lunch is at your own leisure & The afternoon is yours to do as you please! Consider taking a half day tour to the colorful town of Sintra, going wine tasting in Lisbon, or maybe even a sunset wine tour on the water!
Tonight we’ll have one more fun group dinner to toast to a fun week in Portugal & Spain!

Note: If you need to leave early to get home for work on Monday (Limited PTO) you could catch an afternoon flight today instead of exploring Lisbon this afternoon. Just let Rachel know at least 30 days ahead of time and we can arrange transportation.
Its not goodbye – just cya later! After a super fun week everyone departs today for the Lisbon airport (LIS). There will be 3 group/shared transfers to the airport today between 9am and 4pm.

Each trip is different, at least 2 dinners plus breakfast every day is included. The Inclusions has the exact list of food included! Dietary & allergy information will also be collected leading up to the trip to ensure you’re taken care of.
A minimum of 25% down payment is due at the time of booking. The down payment is refundable until your spot is confirmed at which time it becomes non-refundable. Your spot is confirmed after the first 8 bookings are made. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the trip. If you book within 59 days from trip start, the full amount will be due at booking.
Once the trip is confirmed with 8 spots booked, the 25% deposit is non-refundable. Additional payments over the 25% are refundable until we are 60 days out from the trip.
At the 60 day mark all payments are due and the trip is 100% non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your spot prior to 60 days before the trip starts, there is a $100 cancelation fee and the remainder can be used on a future Adventuring for Life trip.
If you cancel 1-59 days prior to the trip, it is 100% non-refundable.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended, especially for ALL International Trips, to protect you in case you do have to cancel at any point.
As of January 2023, Adventuring for Life is not requiring proof of covid vaccination for the trips. It is still strongly recommended that you are vaccinated and by signing up for this trip you accept all responsibility for your health & care if you test positiive for covid on or after the trip.
There is a lot of walking in Spain & Portugal. Most people should be perfectly fine on this trip. Bring some good walking shoes & expect to put in your steps almost everyday we’re in a city. You should be okay with walking at least 10-15k steps per day. This is trip is not good for someone who regularly experiences lower back pain or needs to sit after walking for 10-15 minutes.
Based on some of our activities, this is Not recommended for travelers with back problems or travelers who are pregnant. If either of these apply to you please email or message Rachel on IG so you can discuss the parts that would be recommended you skip.
The majority of the people that sign up for the trips with adventuring for life are coming solo! We do an extensive Roommate matching survey before each trip to help match people up that have the same vibe. You are welcome to bring a friend or request a certain roommate after you’ve met the girls on the group chat or let us pick somebody for you.
We offer solo rooms on certain trips for people that want their own space but you are 100% welcome to sign up by yourself and we will get you a great roommate.

There is A LOT of walking in Spain & Portugal. Expect to walk 10k-20k steps per day with the cities being the most steps. You're expected to be able to handle your own luggage through airports & on/off transportation as well.
