Yes. In the case you have to cancel due to a sickness or work related issue Travel Insurance covers you. It is highly encouraged to purchase Travel Insurance in the current climate of world travel. Hopefully you won’t have to use it but its better to have then not.

The majority of my community is in their 20s and 30s, there isn’t a “too old” age but 25-35 is typical. That doesn’t mean that being 39 or 43 should stop you from joining us. As long as you’re open minded to enjoying a trip with all ages, down to have A LOT of fun, and understand these are very active trips then you’re good!
On a scale of 1-5 I would rate this trip a 3. We aren’t hiking per say but there is A LOT of walking involved. You should expect to end up walking 10k-20k steps per day exploring the different cities so comfortable walking shoes are a must! You are responsible for carrying your own luggage between hotels, onto trains, etc. (less is more when it comes to luggage)
You need to be fully vaccinated per the requirements of the EU. In order to access most areas a “green pass” is required which is only obtainable for US citizens with full vaccination. Please do not sign up for this trip if you are unvaccinated.
Currently Italy requires a covid test prior to entering their country from countries on List D which includes the USA. That may change by the time we take our trip but we can discuss as we get closer. Currently the USA and many other countries (like Canada and the UK) require covid testing prior to going back home. We will organize these tests as we get closer to the trip dates. All airports (Rome, Naples, Florence) offer covid testing so that is always an option. There is also the possibility of bringing an at-home test for US citizens (current policy) so that can also be an option considered. Finding a testing location in Italy is the least of our worries, there are plenty of options.
Everyone should fly into Rome International Airport (FCO) and land on the 10th. On the 17th you have the choice of flying home from Naples(NAP). or Rome(FCO). Naples(NAP) is less travel. You can book a “multi city” ticket instead of round trip or two one ways for almost the same price as a round trip ticket if you want to fly home from Naples. If you’re staying until the 21st you should depart from Florence(FLM) unless you want to travel an extra 2 hours via train back to Rome (FCO).
Yes.
Even if vaccination is not required by every country we visit, for the safety of the entire group & to lessen the burden of ensuring we follow all all covid guidelines (especially since things constantly change) the only way these trips work are if everyone is vaccinated.
