Today you will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be welcomed to Tanzania by one of our beautiful drivers.
Arrive early in the morning before noon so you can enjoy all the stops along the way up to the lodge. They will drive you to your lodge accommodation in Karatu, so make sure to relax and unwind ready for your first busy safari day tomorrow!
Tonight we will come together to have a big family dinner, and raise a glass to a fabulous week together!
Included: Transfers from Airport to Accommodation, Welcome Dinner
Note: If arriving before noon isn’t possible we highly recommend arriving the evening before on February 2nd and staying at a nearby hotel so you don’t miss out on the drive to the lodge.
After breakfast, it’s time to head out on your first big adventure of the week! You will head into the Ngorongoro crater, down a steep and narrow forested road, before entering a vast savannah. As you travel through the land, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the nature and life surrounding you.
If you’re lucky, you might spot one or more of the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos or leopards! But, the crater is filled with stunning warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas and so much more, so you should be able to spot something that can’t be spotted elsewhere!
This time of year is also BABY season – be prepared to witness tiny elephants and mini zebras all over the park!
Included: Breakfast, Safari through the Ngorongoro Crater Lunch, Dinner, Overnight in Luxury Tent
Overnight in Luxury Glamping Tents
*Note: The animals don’t run on a schedule so we’ll be out trying to spot as many as possible! So make sure your cameras are fully charged and you’re ready to see some of the most beautiful animals in the world.
Today we will spend the whole day in the beautiful Serengeti National Park. We will start the day with a filling breakfast, before setting off to explore the park and see everything it has to offer!

Remember: While we are hopefully you will spot something, the animals don’t work for you! They are wild animals and will appear when they feel the time is right, so we will look for them in a respectful way, but cannot guarantee you will see the animals you may wish to see – just be sure to enjoy what you can experience!
Today we will get up nice and early for one final breakfast, before spending the whole morning looking for our final animal sightings.
After the Safari we’ll hop on a plane and make our way from Seronera Airstrip to Zanzania. Be sure to read the FAQ on maximum baggage limits for this flight!

The majority of my community is in their 20s and 30s, there isn’t a “too old” age but 25-35 is typical. That doesn’t mean that being 39 or 43 should stop you from joining us. As long as you’re open minded to enjoying a trip with all ages, down to have A LOT of fun & do ALL the things, and understand these are very active trips then you’re good!
