Lets go to Croatia – on a boat – and this time… let’s add a little luxury to that potion!

What makes this a luxury trip compared to the others? Check out the Overview & Inclusions below! You’ll see there are a lot more small things that are included to make you more comfortable on the ship. Plus its a bigger ship with more amenities and larger rooms which means you’ll feel the waves less (if there are even any!)

We have an ENTIRE Yacht to ourselves. Not only do we get the boat but it comes with a crew and a captain and there’s so much included! Since we’re on board the boat everyday – we get 2 meals a day too! Everyday we’re docking somewhere new. Plan to bring lots of bathing suits because the clear blue water swimming spots are endless!

Note: If you are signing up with a roommate be sure that you both pick the same category/deck on the ship! There are 3 decks of cabins, upper & main decks are slighly more expensive then below deck!

Note #2: Pricing for 2023 activities has not been set yet. The optional activities listed here can easily be booked through the boat once we get closer to our sailing dates. There are LOTS of other activities in each port, these are just activities suggested by the sailing company.

Payment plans available! Pay 25% to secure your spot then pay however you’d like until 60 days prior to the trip. Full balance isn’t due until 60 days before we sail!

July 22nd :
Day 1 - Welcome to Croatia!

Welcome to Split Croatia!

Once you arrive there will be shared transportation to take you straight to the port!

If you arrive early enough – join the optional walking tour of Split! This is a great opportunity to learn a little more about the amazing place were starting in and see all the fabulous Roman architecture.

After the tour of Split, we will return to the boat for a welcome party to toast to a great week ahead.

Included: Transfer to port from split airport, tour around Split, Dinner, welcome cocktail on board the boat, overnight in Split

July 23rd :
Island of Korčula

Today we set sail!

Today we head towards the Island of Korčula – the place that birthed Marco Polo.
On the way, we will stop on a beautiful secluded bay to have a little lunch, before continuing onwards.

Optional: Once we reach Korčula, you have the option of a guided tour – showing you all the hidden treasures, telling you all the legends and giving you a good understanding of this magical land. Or you can go off on your own and explore! You can book this once we board the boat.

The island offers a fantastic array of restaurants and bars, so keep your eyes peeled for any evening plans.

July 24th :
Another day, another adventure - Mljet & Dubrovnik

This morning we will start by heading further south to the Island of Mljet.

We will take a little walk to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park where you can go swimming, kayaking or biking or take a ferry across the lake to explore!

Afterwards, we will return to the boat for lunch, before the boat starts the journey to Dubrovnik. Take this time to unwind, relax, and explore everything you can do on this incredible boat.

Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, the captain will arrange an evening cruise alongside the old city walls while a buffet dinner is served. Dinner with a view – what’s better than this?!

July 25th :
Whole day in Dubrovnik!

Dubrovnik has so much to offer! Today is a free day! What you do is up to you – you have many options from walking tours of the city along the walls to cable car rides and if you’re feeling adventurous you could reserve a spot to go zip lining too! Dubrovnik also has MANY amazing beaches if you’re craving some R&R in the sand. We can talk about all the options in the group chat and book stuff before the trip starts!

There are so many things to do in this city. We also recommend checking out:
(1) Doing the awesome buggy tour – you are taken to Mount Srd to get a bird’s eye view of the Old City and Elaphite Isles before driving an off-road buggy around the mountain.
Unmissable!

(2) Dubrovnik is also the setting for the capital city of Westeros, Kings Landing, in Game of Thrones. If you are a fan, why not take a walking tour of the locations of the most famous scenes in the ultra-popular show and get an overview of the history of Dubrovnik at the same time?

Note: to give you the convenience of not needing to return to the boat, only breakfast will be served on this day – giving you plenty of time to soak in all the incredible views and opportunities for delish food.

July 26th :
Explore Pelješac Peninsula

It’s goodbye to Dubrovnik and hello to more incredible scenery as we head to the Pelješac peninsula – home to Croatia’s best wines!

Before Lunch we will take a short trip to the breath-taking Elaphiti Islands, before continuing on to our destination Pelješac.

Optional: Tonight you have the opportunity to visit a local village and farm. You can indulge in a heritage dinner with Croatian delicacies and local dishes made from their own produce!

Overnight on Pelješac peninsula.

July 27th :
Hvar!

Today We will dock in Hvar Town, Jelsa or Stari Grad (weather depending)

Hvar is rated as one of the highlights of the trip and it’s not hard to see why. You should definitely climb to the very top of the island at the fort to enjoy the view from the top today!

Hvar’s nightlife is also legendary – there are several clubs on the island, Carpe Diem the famous “club on an island”, you can catch sunset at Hula Hula bar and a ton more. If there is a dinner spot you want to visit you should DEFINITELY make a reservation in advance. Hvar can be busy at dinner time.

July 28th :
Island of Brač

Today’s destination is the Island of Brač and the picturesque town of Bol.

You will have the chance to swim at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat  so be sure to bring your GoPro or Camera for more stunning photos.

After lunch on board, you have time to do anything you want, relax on the boat, or adventure for some final swimming in the stunning Croatian seas. This afternoon, you will also have a beautiful wine tasting experience – giving you one final touch of the local culture and flavors.

Tonight we’ll have dinner on board with the Captain! This is the perfect night to thank the team for all their work, and let your hair down one last time.

Note: With the two Luxury trips being B2B – Rachel will depart today in the afternoon to ensure the next week girls arriving today get checked in smoothly. You will be in the capable hands of the Boat Manager & Crew. Its not good bye yet though because Rachel will still be in charge of all logistics on the dock tomorrow when you depart.

July 29th :
Until Next Time!

Today we take an early morning trip back to Split, so say goodbye to your new crew friends and get ready to set sail back home.

We will depart the boat in the AM & Multiple shuttles to the airport will be arranged today. If you wish to stay in split a bit longer there are multiple luggage lockers around the town to store your luggage in. Last shuttle from the port to the airport will be approximately 4pm.

Note: We do not dock overnight in Split so early morning flights should be avoided in case of delays in docking the boat in the AM.

What is the refund policy?

Once the trip is confirmed with 8 spots booked, the 25% deposit is non-refundable. Additional payments over the 25% are refundable until we are 60 days out from the trip.

At the 60 day mark all payments are due and the trip is 100% non-refundable.

If you need to cancel your spot prior to 60 days before the trip starts, there is a $100 cancelation fee and the remainder can be used on a future Adventuring for Life trip.

If you cancel 1-59 days prior to the trip, it is 100% non-refundable.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended, especially for ALL International Trips, to protect you in case you do have to cancel at any point.

Are flights included?

No flights are not included. People come from everywhere for this trip so I’m unable to include international flights.

Should I buy Travel Insurance?

Yes, in the current climate of traveling international I recommend everyone buy travel insurance.

Do I need to be vaccinated?`

As of January 2023, Adventuring for Life is not requiring proof of covid vaccination for the trips. It is still strongly recommended that you are vaccinated and by signing up for this trip you accept all responsibility for your health & care if you test positiive for covid on or after the trip.

What is the average age range?

The average age on most trips is 21-39 but don’t let that discourage you from signing up. “41” doesn’t mean you’re too old to enjoy a trip. What I like to tell everyone before signing up is to make sure they’re ok with possibly traveling with people that are 21, that they may be the only “person their age” but also if you’re down to have fun and you do believe that age is just a number. You’re the perfect time of person for these trips. My trips are pretty high energy, pretty fast paced and fun – lots of fun. I just tell everyone to have an open mind and come to have a blast. We aren’t sitting down and relaxing by the pool for 7 days, we’re seeing the world!

What is the roommate policy on this trip

We have 17 cabins with 2 twin beds in each cabin. If you don’t sign up with a roommate then one will be assigned. Prior to the trip I send out a roommate survey asking basic questions and try to match people the best I can. The goal is to put you with a like minded roommate that’s going to make your trip even better. Surprisingly enough, some of my roommate matches have ended up traveling with each other outside these trips, which I think is pretty cool.

What is the food situation?

Half board is included everyday. Most days are Breakfast & lunch, a few days include dinner. All types of allergies and food preferences can be cooked for. Vegetarian, Vegan, Pesc, Gluten Free, etc. Breakfast is a typical buffet style with hot and cold options. Lunch is a 3 course meal with a soup/salad starter, a main course and a desert. If you have specific things you cant/dont eat this can be accounted for before we arrive.

  • This is a fairly active trip with lots of walking, you should also be confident in swimming as we're on a boat the entire trip.
